The Kilikanoons are probably worth trying at the price. I couldn't recommend stocking up because I haven't had them myself, but they've had reasonable reviews down here. I'd suggest buy and try, and buy again only if they measure up.

The Cape d'Estaing gets some variable write ups, and at the price for an unreliable vintage I'd steer clear. Also I think the price is a bit high considering that the vines are almost certainly less than ten years old.

italianwino,

I don't know too many of these wines, however,

Vincent Girardin Perrieres Meursault 2002 52.50

Vincent Girardin Les Enseigneres Puligny Montrachet 2002 35.00

Girardin is one of my favorite white Burg producers. 2002 wasa very good year for white Burg. These prices seem reasonable, though not steals.

Guigal Chateauneuf-du-Pape 2001 25.20

Very good price.

Clos Mogador Priorat 1998 87.50 1.5 Lt

BUY THIS! Terrific wine. I've never seen a 750ml lower than $48.

Dominio de Pingus Ribera del Duero 1996 350.00

Supposedly a phenominal wine. I've only had Flor de Pingus (1999) which was very, very good. I think if you really want to try a Pingus, you can find the 1996 for less than $350. You'd probably have to spend $300, though.

My $0.02

I should also say about Cape D'Estaing - I intend on stocking up in about 5 years time when their vines have got to about 10 - 12 years old. They have made some very good juice out of immature vines so far, only a good thing for the future.
