I just re-read the OP.  You bought a LEG?  10+ pounds?  Sorry Gaspar, but my BS detector is starting to tingle...  If you have the wherewithal to buy $4k plus of one of the rarest hams on the planet and are posting here for suggestions on what to drink with it, methinks you are a bit full of it.  Please feel free to correct me.  I'm easy...

could be ITB, resto owner looking for some online somm tips =)

I will add that food/wine pairing is an after thought still for most people.

But, I'm in the barsac category.  I like a bit more sweetness when i'm  having something salty
