I've seen several references to the Wine Speculum...what is it? A magazine? A column? Sorry for what is probably dumb question, but thanks in advance for your replies!

I've heard it used in two contexts.

One is as a deliberate malapropism intended to refer to the Wine Spectator in a derogatory context.

The other is as a reference to the "Rabbit" corkscrew, since it resembles the medical tool.
