I would appreciate advice on which wine to pair with french naopleon cake. The baker's cream in this case is not very sweet. thank you

2006 Taittinger Comptes de Champagne.

Just enough sweetness to play nicely with the pastry.  Plenty of bubbles to clear the palate.

I adore the 2006 Taittinger Comtes.

However, I would still opt for something a little sweeter here.  While I appreciate this is a less-sweet version, assuming it is still some sort of Napoleon cake / mille-feuille, I think a Demi-sec Vouvray would be my selection.  I'm a sucker for Huet and I tend to gravitate towards the Clos du Bourg.

Thank you very much for your suggestions !

friend of mine also suggested Quarts de Chaume but I thought it might be a bit too sweet for Napoleon?
