We made it to #6 (The Noble Rot) and #136 (City Social) on our recent trip. Had a reservation to #139 (Sushi Samba) but couldn't make it.

I have to say, I think City Social is getting shafted by being placed down at #136. Their wine li$t was fanta$tic and they also had a mind blowing cheese cart.

...Surprised Kitchen W8 was not on this as its wine list was better and far better priced than many of these

Pollen Street Social: Excellent wine list.
They serve many older wines by the glass (via Corvin) at somewhat reasonable prices

I do not know this Kitchen W8. I will seek it out. Should be back in London before long and, if this upcoming meeting is indeed in London we should be in one very celebratory mood.

We really enjoyed it - slightly more casual (and less expensive) than Pollen Street - free corkage on Sundays if I recall correctly. Kensington - We both said we thought Pollen Street was probably a slightly better restaurant but we would go to Kitchen W8 more often (and Lorne even more often) if we lived in London
