Having decided against a casserole or one pot meal, I am making a pork loin roast with fig/ginger glaze and some maple/chipotle sweet potatoes. Wine pairing? Was thinking of the same suggestion from Board-O for Grun, Champagne and Pinot. Any other suggestions? thx

fig, ginger, maple... I'd be looking at a rich Alsatian Pinot Gris, maybe even one with a bit of RS. Most reds don't hold up so well to those kinds of flavours.

Champagne works with just about anything, and even if it doesn't, it's still just a lot of fun to drink. Smile
