GMT in Japan should get to '04 first. On the bright side, we on the right coast can drink and then beat the left coasters to post our TN's!!

Our Kiwi friends will celebrate first, followed by the Aussies and then Japan. I don't believe there are any forumites in Micronesia who would be first due to their proximity to the International Date Line. Didn't you guys pay attention during your geography classes? Happy New Year.

I paid close attention during geography class. Only thing was, 1)it was way too long ago and 2) the attention I was paying was to the girls.
Now that you mention it, I do remember that in Y2K, the Aussie fireworks occurred first.

On New Year's Eve we were babysitting the kid of my wife's niece, who lives there.

Anyway, I'm more the sit-on-a-rock-and-stare-at-the-sea kind of Ibiza goer.
And of course the go-to-the-supermarket-and-the-enoteca-and-marvel-on-the-amazing-range-of-great-Spanish-wines-they-got Ibiza goer.

Ahh... the other side of Ibiza.

I have heard that the island is nowhere near its heyday though. Apparently once us yankee pigdogs started going there, all the europeans jettisoned off to Kevos.
