Which 1989 Bordeaux?

One of the founders of our firm is retiring soon.  The firm was founded in 1989 and we thought it would be special to give an '89 first growth.  As of now price is not a consideration.  Does anyone have any input as to which would be drinking the best right now?  Preliminary research suggests Haut Brion and also warns against Latour.  Anything else?  Your input is appreciated.

If you live in a state where you can receive alcohol by delivery, there are several reputable wine stores that ship nationally and have ‘89 HB in.  Use wine-searcher then call the store to discuss the bottle.  Ask for a picture of the bottle so you know what you are getting re ullage and label condition.

If that is not an option...

1989 Palmer is a stellar wine. I assume the Margaux is as well, and CT shows a high score.

In addition to Palmer, I also happen to love ‘89 Pichon Baron, Montrose, Angelus if you’re willing to go outside First Growths.
