My wife and I will be down there later this week for a few days. Golf is lined up (yes, early in the morning), but I need some suggestions for a couple nice dinners.
my favorite "nice" place is La Vallauris, pricey & $30 corkage but also very nice... some finds on the winelist, usually we bring our own. another good meal is Lyons English Grille...
Have mentioned it before, Cuistot. Excellent. Also if you search in this fora with the words Palm Springs you may get some additional ideas. Have fun, stay cool!
Tuscany at the J.W. Marriot was pretty good. A bit on the expensive side, but the food was pretty good. My wife enjoyed her lobster tail, and my beef/pork bolognese was very good. $20 corkage, their stems are decent enough that you don't need to bring your own. Service was excellent.
