When Was Parkers Last Loire Report?

I really enjoy Loire wine so would like to see more but I think it is a demand issue.

The Loire is not as "sexy" as the Languedoc as a potential up and coming region, and for some reason there is not that much interest in it (obviously a generalization).

As far as I'm concerned Parker can keep overlooking the Loire -- the dessert wines, especially Coteax Du Layon region are a bargain and imho great QPR because they don't get much hype.

Parker covered the Anjou and Touraines parts of the Loire valley in issue 124 from August 1999. Also "The Loire Valley: Large, Diverse and Yet Unkown" was in issue 113 from October 1997.

Since then Loire wines have only been in things like "Recommended new releases: France" or "Value Report" or such.

VM- 2002 is supposed to be xlnt. The Best since 1995-96. I prefer the Chenin Blancs.

i'm very excited about the success '01 and '02 in Loire valley. i doubt the wines will see the same level of exosure, as Aussie counterparts, but some improvements(long overdue) may happen.
