Brunch at Patria. Certainly the best brunch I’ve had in a long long time and one of the best meals I’ve had in the last year.

36 month old Jamón Ibérico De Bellota, Morcón Salami, Ibérico Lomo, Ibérico Chorizo, fresh grilled bread with tomatoes & olive oil, 12 month old Manchego, Valdeón, La Leyenda cheeses, fried potatoes with spicy tomato and fried eggs and lastly shrimp with parsley and olive oil.

Cava and an americano.

I could have died a happy man afterwards.

That sound fantastic!!

You've inspired me-- I may have to add some raisins to my oatmeal later this morning. Smile

I thought it was some sort of bacon avocado thing as well.

That breakfast was decadent but it was also pretty light actually (other than the potatoes). Certainly sat better than a lumberjack breakfast from a greasy spoon!

Homemade eggs benedict, hash brown, crab cakes, hollandaise sauce with chives and Taittinger La Francaise Brut to wash it all down.

Delicious breakfast. Should do it more often.

Damn! I had a bowl of Cheerios with sliced bananas.
