Soft fresh bun, three slices of peameal bacon, fried egg with nice runny yolk, big slice of sharp cheddar, brown sauce.

Croque Madame at my favorite French pastry shop in Santa.

Brunch down near the beach Saturday morning. Frittata with roasted squash and fresh sourdough toast. Started with fresh OJ and ended with a nice espresso. After that we took the little one through the farmers market and picked up some veggies for the week.

Dark cafe con leche and 1/2 bagel with pumpkin seeds

almond granola with vanilla yogurt; very light drizzle of wild flower honey (packed for flight today)

On a drizzly dreary morning, homemade sausage gravy on biscuits. Spicy V-8. Good.

Had friends to the house for brunch - two quiches, bagels with lox and cream cheese, fruit salad in honey and Grand Marnier, cranberry muffins, etc., etc. Been waddling around the house ever since...

3 slices of applewood smoked bacon. Two slices of homemade 7-grain bread. A wee schmear of Irish butter. Bacon still hot and and greasy.

Damn good, and absolutely not good for me.

Smoked Salmon and Dill Cream Cheese on a Bagel.

Fresh bagels from Saint Viateur(Dollard), Organic Danish cream cheese(Healthtree) and Montreal smoked salmon(Victoria fish market). The old Greek owner,who looks like a fisherman,imports wild salmon from Scotland and smokes the fish himself in the back. Finish it off with a cappuccino and I am a happy man

Well that sounds tasty! I have a soft spot for peameal and French Toast. My mom use to make this on Christmas morning when I was a kid.

I had a soft spot back then as well; one big round one from eating to much Bacon and French Toast!
