Never heard of it. Is it good? How do you take your gin?

I love it up in a martini or straight on the rocks with olives, depending on the gin. North Shore #11, Hendricks, Plymouth, Death's Door. All favorites.
It's a local organic gin from minnesota I got to try at work. I usually drink my gin on the rocks. I'm a Hendricks fan as well.

I haven't seen that, not even in Scotland. I'm guessing it's fairly expensive. Is it worth the money?

It's the Lagavulin Distillers Edition and it's not that much more expensive than the regular 16y. About 50-60€ if i remember well. Should not be that difficult to find in specialised shops or even in supermarkets with a good range of malts. Maybe the actual version of distillers edition is >1989, but it should be the same Pedro-Ximenez wood style. Definately worth a try at the price. Is it better than the 16y? A matter of taste, i prefer the PX version.
Don't drink distilled stuff too much but I have a soft spot for good Cognac. On my last trip to Paris I picked up a bottle of Camus Extraordinaire. Doesn't look like it's available in the states, so I'm going to have to get another bottle next time I'm there. It's very nice.

And I'll be at a Scot's house tonight. I'm sure he'll serve up a delicious single malt.
