"Short swirl with an ice cube" as in 3 seconds and then remove the ice. I find it doesn't dilute the flavour yet enhances the aromatics. Works really well with cask strength single malts and can help some other higher alcohol ones as well. Works for me.

Sounds better Smile , i was terrorized by the thought of an ice cube swimming in a single malt, like in a Bourbon, even more terrorized by the thought of an ice cube swimming in a Bunnahabhain 18. That's a fantastic malt, you'll surely enjoy if you like the 12yr

For similar reasons, I am holding onto 2 limited production bottlings I bought in Tomintoul at The Whisky Castle.
