What distilled beverage are you drinking?

Talisker Dark Storm, a special version aged in charred oak casks. Very similar to Loch Dhu, this 10 year yummy is worth discovering.

Been sipping a little Rock Hill Farms bourbon, neat.

It's been my go-to since I was introduced during a trip to Ireland in 2011.

It's one of my least favorite, along with Bushmills 18 yr old.

Last night with friends from back home:
23 year Elijah Craig Bourbon - absolutely delicious, very smooth
Buffalo Trace Single Barrel - nice stuff, good value
and some 2012 Raspberry Eisbock from Kuhnhenn (not distilled of course but was delicious!)

FEW single malt. Evanston, Illinois product. I live in evanston and want to love this and recommend it. I can't. So green and unpleasant. The bourbon and rye are better. Give them a few more batches to improve on the single malt.
