To me this, and Eagle Rare, are two of the better easy-to-find and easy(ish)-on-the-wallet Bourbons out there.

I'm with you on that. Eagle Rare is my favorite, not super expensive bourbon. And I also agree with BillHike and prefer the small batch to the single barrel. I got to taste one of their limited, single vintage bourbons at the distillery last year and it was outstanding. Haven't been able to procure one though.
