Was offered a glass of Blanton's Bourbon, my first, by a friend who claims it's his favorite. I was impressed. However, upon hitting my local store only to find none, I was told that Blanton's is, "Only selling through bars and restaurants because of the shortage." What?!? Just when I get a hankering for a new Bourbon (to me), I can't get it. What's this all about anyway? I searched on W-S, and it's out there, but none in WA State. Mad

Gee, we have lots of it here-- there's over 100 bottles available in Vancouver. The only catch is that they're all 50 ml bottles (~ C$15).

I'd be happy to bring some down for you on our next Seattle visit. We could pretend we're on a flight somewhere during the 1980s, sit in seats with lots of legroom, and open up a whole bunch of them. Smile

That's odd. Plenty of it here, if I see a good deal locally I'll grab an extra bottle and if you want I can send it your way (or if you find one before then I'll simply keep an extra one around Smile ).

Could've sworn I saw some in Costco the other day.

There is plenty of Blantons original bourbon available in Toronto through our local government run monopoly. It's $65 a bottle. I'd be happy to grab some for you, the only problem is the logistics of getting it to you.

Cool

Haven't had Dickel since High School I don't believe

Revisit soon- one of my favorite QPRs straight and an excellent mixing whiskey.

Which one? The black label or something else? Was very common when I was growing up in Alabama. Not something I have seen often since.
