The Glenlivet 25 Year Old
Ballantine's 30 Year Old
Both were excellent, but The Glenlivet was truly stunning.

Mike, just wondered if you've had Rittenhouse, and if so, how the two compare?
I have not...sorry.

Cognac Pierre Ferrand "Selection des Anges"
At the Salt Whisky Bar in London tonight I had the following nice pours:
Dailuaine 16yrs Flora and Fauna Series (cask strength)
Glenfarclas '105' (cask strength)
Lagavulin 16
I'd not come across the Dailuaine before but it was really beautiful.

Sure i've had. For some reason, the 16yr is not my cup of tea, but i do like the distiller's edition of the Lagavulin very much.
1800 Anejo and Patron Reposado toasting my brother in law's 60th - the head is gonna hurt mañana.
Ungava Gin - Jury's out on this one.
Ardbeg - Corryvreckan

Went to a tasting at the 2bar distillery tonight. I already have a bottle of their bourbon, but tried their vodka and moonshine whiskey. Much smaller operation than I thought, considering the local press it's been generating, but have to say, both were top notch.

Good to know. Which would you buy if only buying one bottle?
A pour of Glenlivet Nadurra 16. One of my perennial favorites.
