I liked the flavor of the 17 and the smoothness of the 25.
got to enjoy some Pappy Van Winkle 12 yr, 20 yr and 23 yr last night with friends. some of the best stuff around imo.

Dalmore 12 - tasty and a cool bottle.
Glenmorangie 12 Quinta Ruban if you likd a little sweetness. This one is aged in port barrels.

Recently tried Ardbeg 10, which should be in this price range. I've intro'd it to a few friends and everyone has come back with rave reviews.

I like the Strathisla 12. It is not a peaty style at all. Lots of honey and some spice. Perfect for the holidays, says I. $40-ish in Chicago.

St Germain is a elderflower liquor by itself that retails under 40usd. For the lack of better description, it has a honey-lychee flavor that puts Soho to shame, but more sweet, more floral, and more complex. It is well known for versatility with cognac, rum, Hendrick's gin etc etc.., but I usually drink it just on the rocks.

Ocean vodka. Made in Maui. USDA organic certified. Interesting vodka. Has a bit of an ocean breeze kind of a nose. Palate is fairly light in style. Just a bit of a hot finish.

It's the first time read "ocean breeze" in a Vodka, sounds very interesting.
