Sorry to hear. Apparently this year's strain is a mofo.

Get better soon!

A cup of very good cream of crab soup and a couple of very good little sliders. And a LOT of very good craft brew. Mid-afternoon nap upcoming.

Stinks for sure. D came home from a horse show with it. Took her last meds and I got it. Took my last med and she now has it again. She had the A strain, now the B strain. So, a three week run. Frown

I went 33 years without the flu so can’t complain.

Hope you are better now, I had that over Christmas and it knocked me down for a full five days as well.

Pretty sure I've never had the flu, or at least not with the debilitating symptoms most experience.

I like breakfast. Even for lunch and dinner. For lunch today, scrambled eggs, thick sliced bacon and some excellent multigrain toast. OJ, of course!

Huge +1 on this. When making a breakfast dish at home for dinner, out comes the Champagne, positively!

Champagne with breakfast, or brunch... or life in general is de rigueur . Unless Bloody Marys are more appropriate. In this case, the Bloodys were the choice. Absolutely. Wink

its probably been 15 years since I’ve had one of those but I remember them fondly. Is there a Tommy’s in OC?

In Lake Forest off the I-5 and El Toro Rd. Also in Fountain Valley off the I-405 and Magnolia. The best is still at Beverly and Rampart in LA.
Grilled lamb loin with rice and veggies. Mint jelly on the lamb naturally.
Which do you prefer, mint jelly or mint sauce or neither?
