I love their calamari salad!
Forgot . . .for me yesterday . . . English muffin with ricotta and strawberry rhubarb jam
Recommendation: English muffins from Model Bakery in St. Healdsburg. They have a cook book out with their recipe (it's very very close but I suspect not exactly the actual recipe because it calls for instant yeast. Based on the flavor of the muffin they sell at the bakery, I suspect they use fresh yeast). In either event, these home-made versions trounce anything else you can buy in the store or mail order

A burger from Surfside restaurant in Palm Beach (the old Hamburger Heaven location). Really really good.
Just made my wife and daughter a homemade mac n cheese with fontina and gruyere plus big chunks of tomatoes, celery and carrots.
Parcival: yes that calamari dish is killer

Brunch at the Grand Tier Restaurant at the Met. They have young professionals singing some arias while you dine. Two acts - one at 12:30 and another at 1:30 which lasts about 30 minutes each.

Better than red snapper and yellowtail? That's saying a lot! I've had hog snapper, but never mutton snapper. I'll have to give it a try. Grouper is my favorite.
Made some ham, cabbage, and potato soup this AM for lunch today. Made stock from the bone of the ham we had yesterday.

Just an opinion but many here in the Keys consider that to be the case. No doubt on grouper but it is often over-cooked and ruined

Went to Red Hook brewery in Woodinville for lunch today. Had their wonderful Ruben sandwich, which was prepared a little differently than I've had before. Tt appears that they pull or chop the Blackhook porter braised corned beef, then mix it up on the grill with the kraut. Then onto toasted dark rye bread with Swiss cheese and thousand island. It was huge, and delicious.
Paired with a small batch Lagerhop Sterling.

There is a Carmelina's in the North End of Boston which is pretty good. I'm guessing that's it.
