Yes, a cool place. I had a peameal sandwich for breakfast one day on our vacation this summer. I temporarily forgot that our bacon is quite different.

I don't really track which restaurants have a Michelin star or not. With or without Maison Pic was a great lunch. 3-course for 95 euros with some amuse bouche and extra desserts is a pretty good deal.

Turkey chili along with Ramey SC chard. Watching football so why not? Surprisingly good pairing.

Yesterday I had a grilled pork tenderloin sandwich with sautéed red onion, garlic aioli, and crisp brussel sprout leaves. I never would have thought to use brussel sprout leaves in a sandwich, but it was excellent and something I will keep in mind for home.

Massive seafood tower at Balthazar. Was not expecting it to be that good.

Lobster Roll at "Luke's Lobster" - a chain that started in Boston (I think) and appears to be popping up throughout the Northeast

Solidly mediocre. Over half of it was claw meat and was a bit strong on the seasoning. No option for all tail meat so will not be going back anytime soon

I actually prefer the claw meat which is generally more tender when cooking the entire lobster.

Generally agree, but I find there to be too much salt in the brisket rub and the sides to be only mediocre. The sausages, turkey and pulled pork are pretty amazing though.

Agree on the sides being mediocre. I didn't find the brisket to be too overly salty, but 'brisket variation' may have played a part on that.
