Kielbasa Burger with swiss, lettuce, and Bertman's Stadium Mustard

Was this ground kielbasa mixed in with the ground beer, or was it all kielbasa? Ground or in normal tube form?

It was ground 100% Kielbasa, not mixed with ground beef. We have a great local butcher that does different burger mixes, so these come pre-mixed and formed into patties. Something different to throw on the grill.
I had, a most delightful salad of garden arugula, crispy polenta "crossed fingers", shaved Reggiano "shingles", and "hand selected" sliced purple cherokee tomatoes. Atop, was a wonderfully local harvested, "duo" of sea bass cheek and collar, broiled to perfection, with a basil-lemongrass "foam". I made this dish, naturally, and devoured it, absolutely! In the end, a salad it was not - this was a culinary masterpiece, incontestably!

This was enjoyed with a 2007 Schramsberg J. Schram" Sparkler.
Beef on weck and authentic Buffalo wings, washed down by $2.50 Yeungling drafts at Duff's in Buffalo. I spent 6 weeks working here about 10 years ago and learned to love beef on weck and authentic Buffalo wings. And yes, Duff's is as good, if not better, than the originals from Anchor Bar (which is also very good but I prefer Duff's).

Eat your heart out, Otis! Wink

Cool

I'm leaving for the local farmers' market in 20 min. The heirloom tomatoes this year have been incredible, and the best apples should be appearing right about now!

Yes, I should have mentioned our tomatoes were an ugly but delicious heirloom variety.

M, I will be out your way in a few weeks and I'm hoping my trip coincides with one of those rare occasions when you and S are actually in country. I'll shoot you an email with dates.

Any idea how much weight you've gained on this trip? I'm guessing more than a little..... Wink
