McDonald's grilled chicken sandwich.

texture of a piece of rubber with absolutely no flavor except for the overly sugary bun
I don't eat lunch that often but my wife just made a huge veal cutlet sandwich with fresh burrata and onions on sourdough roll...delicious!
Major offsite cellar re-org today . . . 4 hours of moving 45 pound boxes back and forth

Energy reboot was a McGrill chicken sandwich from McDonalds. About as bad as it was earlier in the week but was the only thing close

Chinese/Hakka cuisine cooked by an Indian chef, served by a Nepalese server, in a strip mall in Burlington Ontario.

It was delicious!

After way way too much chocolate yesterday (and general feelings of overweight bloatiness recently) lunch was kale, quinoa, wheatberries, walnuts, feta, sunflower seeds and some balsamic vinegar.

Probably do variations on a theme for the next while.

Chicken with a green garlic sauce for me. Always a good time here!
Grilled sockeye salmon with chimichurri, lobster poutine (freaking awesome), halibut with a crab and herb crust and pasta puttanesca. And a lovely Bc Pinot Grigio.

Love being on vacation!
Chick-Fil-A... first time in years; but for whatever reason, I had a craving. 2 spicy chicken sandwiches. Leaving aside the owner's unfortunate and soon-to-be-irrelevant stance on gay marriage, Chick-Fil-A really is, imo, easily the best national true fast food chain.

Reading this, I immediately heard Elaine Benes' voice..."You know, a big salad!"
chopped salad - little gems, savoy cabbage, orange bell pepper, steamed/chilled broccoli, 1/2 avocado, toasted almond slivers, halved snow peas. Dressing was vinegar, minced ginger, mayo, cracked pepper, sesame oil, ponzu, lemon juice, honey.
Thai food at the place next to my office. Asked for "Level 5" (hottest) of the Drunken Noodles with beef. For the first time ever they made it damn spicy and it was damn good. Usually I have to add chili sauce, but it was perfect, to the point of a bit of sweating! Great lunch.
