After way way too much chocolate yesterday (and general feelings of overweight bloatiness recently) lunch was kale, quinoa, wheatberries, walnuts, feta, sunflower seeds and some balsamic vinegar.
Probably do variations on a theme for the next while.

Chick-Fil-A... first time in years; but for whatever reason, I had a craving. 2 spicy chicken sandwiches. Leaving aside the owner's unfortunate and soon-to-be-irrelevant stance on gay marriage, Chick-Fil-A really is, imo, easily the best national true fast food chain.

Reading this, I immediately heard Elaine Benes' voice..."You know, a big salad!"

Tortilla crusted shrimp with mango salsa.
Smoked Turkey breast sandwich with cheddar cheese (Home smoked turkey).
chopped salad - little gems, savoy cabbage, orange bell pepper, steamed/chilled broccoli, 1/2 avocado, toasted almond slivers, halved snow peas. Dressing was vinegar, minced ginger, mayo, cracked pepper, sesame oil, ponzu, lemon juice, honey.
Thai food at the place next to my office. Asked for "Level 5" (hottest) of the Drunken Noodles with beef. For the first time ever they made it damn spicy and it was damn good. Usually I have to add chili sauce, but it was perfect, to the point of a bit of sweating! Great lunch.
Left over Veal scallopine with mushrooms. Caesar salad.
