It is pretty good. Used to be a good place near my office, but it closed. Probably good for my health though!

Glenn,
My in-laws live in Newport Beach, and when we visit, they will sometimes pick up great Korean fried chicken from BBQ (Best Barbecue). Cheesy name, great fried chicken and fried rice. Don't know where it is, but it's darn tasty.

In a sushi coma after a 2 hour lunch with gkapoor and mrs. glennk. Mr. Kapoor generously brought a 1996 Pierre Péters Champagne Blanc de Blancs Brut Cuvée Spéciale and a riesling from 1959 that was interesting, if not a bit past its prime.

Great lunch. Now I’m going to try to stay awake in my afternoon meetings.

We have what should be an absolute doosy coming up tomorrow which should warrant it's own thread. I sure hope we're not disappointed.
Brilliantly grilled Copper River salmon enjoyed with an excellent bottle of 2010 Domain Tempier Bandol Rose. (seriously good wine)
A friend of mine and I decided to turn a 3 day holiday into a 4 day holiday, and lunch was scheduled for today.

A perfect piece of Copper River salmon was enjoyed with a bottle of NV Pierre Peters BdB and a 2002 Beaux Freres.

I presume it was perfect because you fed it to the cat while you were eating a steak. Razz

A big fan of Oregon Pinot. Just not a fan of Beaux Freres. Just haven't had one that did anything to me.
It's always been a 'meh' experience.
