Today will be a Ready-Pac Bistro salad, a turkeyburger with Swiss cheese, lettuce and Miracle Whip, crinkle cut french fries, a Pepsi Max, and maybe some ice cream

I was not aware they served beer. I haven't been there before. Perhaps they can make that into a shake Woot
There's also a decent wine list but BYO is OK as well. Bring a bottle, cork screw and your own glasses and serve yourself. Corkage is officially $5 but I never heard of it being charged.

That was a great lunch g-man. Too bad the '74 DRC did not live up to expectations. Thanks for sharing though!
Egg salad sandwich, green grapes and some Doritos. I felt like I was in grade school again...but it was good.

Man that sounds good. I've been craving that for over a month now. This avoid carbs thing is starting to take its toll!

Today I had a roasted chicken leg, steamed broccoli and red lentil soup...all leftovers.
Friend arrived from montreal with a beef brisket, rye bread, pickles, slaw and mustard from schwarz's. And a 6-pack of old milwaukee tall boys.
Leftover:

Grouper with touch of green curry
Israeli Cous-cous with sauteed onions and aged balsamic
Roasted Aspraragus with a touch of jack cheese

Cool I miss that smoked meat!
Last meal before leaving Vegas, I dropped by Batali's Enoteca Pizzeria.

Had a plate of bucatini with tomato sauce and cured ham. Spectacular!
Salty spicy green beans
Fish in black bean sauce
BBQ pork
Spicy salty squid
Pork buns
Steamed Rice
and a variety of dim sum as appetizers

I feel like I've had my sodium intake for the month!
Have guest coming for a late light lunch.

(WOW!)
A young pig forequarter, about 10 pound piece BBQed for 5 hours. Coleslaw and tartiflette as sides. No wine, am saving myself for some bubbly yet TBD.
I really need to drop a few pounds so I have been having Ready-Pac Bistro salads and San Pelegrino for lunch for the last couple of weeks. If you buy 1 Ready-Pac salad it's $3.99, but if you buy 3 or more they're $2.99 each, so I pick up 3 or 4 every time I drive by the supermarket. They have a pretty good variety so you don't get bored and every once in a while they change them up, like swapping out turkey for chicken in their cobb salads, or sweet onion dijon vinaigrette for cranberry dijon vinaigrette in the spinach salad
