Regarding the pine nut thing, I've experienced a couple of periods of perhaps a few days where wine was bitter in the aftertaste, regardless of varietal. Some time after an occurence, I read somewhere about the pine nut issue. I make fresh pesto from time to time, and would occasionally pop a few pine nuts in my mouth as a snack while prepping the pesto. I'm guessing there was some correlation, although this did not happen the most recent time or two making pesto. Confused
