bomba, you'd better see him now if you can as it doesn't seem he has much gas left in the tank. mrs bman thought his show was more like a variety show than a concert, as his 10 musicians and 3 back-up singers all took turns doing either extended solos or just performing a song on their own while he was offstage. We presumed that he must have had a few beers before the show and needed to pee a few times....
As for the photos, Sunny, while the set is much bigger and more modern, the clothes? Not so much. And during one of the tunes he showed a series of old concert photos, some of which resembled those you shared!
What did you expect Bman? To see him prancing around the stage in a leopard skin suit singing Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?
Ripping through a raucous version of Every Picture Tells a Story with Ron Wood at his side? (he's busy with another geezer gig).
That 1975 tour Sunny mentions was probably the last time he was worth seeing. In fact I was surprised to hear he was even touring. I figured he never ventured out of Las Vegas where he's slotted in the matinee shows between Englebert Humperdinck and Celine Dion.
Sorry, I couldn't help myself.
