I'm enjoying some Casi Cielo

Just finished up a bag of this. Very nice stuff.

Now back to an old stand-by. Peet's Major Dickason's Blend.

PH

Major Dickason is our house brand. Cafe Cielo has too many citrus notes for me, I prefer chocolate & roasted malts flavors. Just bought a bag of Peet's Big Bang to use for cold brew.

Ethiopia Kayon Mountain from 49th Parallel. Must be some kind of sister coffee to Jirgacheffe, because this is right in our wheelhouse. If locals are interested, it's available at Dark Horse Expresso locations. No affiliation, just huge fans of the style.

Cool. Thx for the tip. Does it have the bright, clean, lemony profile like the Jirgacheffe from Detour?

Definitely has the clean, fruit component, though I don't know if I would say lemons. It's more tropical maybe? Would love your opinion if you end up trying it.
I may be a coffee snob, but I drink Kona Extra Fancy when I can afford it which, lately, has been seldom. I started drinking it in '87 after a trip to Kona.It was $13/lb.Nothing compares to it....nothing. At $44/lb, it is cost prohibitive and it has to be mailed from Kona. As a rule, I buy 8 O'clock Central Highlands whole bean which is excellent for $5/12 oz. Starbucks is the worst. WaWa coffee and Dunkin Donuts is very good

Agreed. Drank some Extra Fancy at Honolulu Coffee Company in Maui. Incredible!

I was still tasting it 4 hrs later.

Bought some to bring home...$50. Too expensive to be a daily drinker.
