Double espresso ( Starbucks beans) in the courtyard this morning.
Sitting in the courtyard with the fountain dripping, the fire pit on, lizards looking for a sunny spot in the rock garden and bees going from one flower to another all while cello music playing make for a fine start to the day.

Working my way through a giant bag of Tim Hortons sent by Canadian family. Nice gesture, but prefer to enjoy occasionally, while in Toronto...
Back to my snobby coffee soon...just a pound or two left...

Starbucks "Kenya". Not so good.
Two Brothers Brewhouse Dark.
I'm waiting for my usual shipment to arrive tomorrow so I was forced to pick up some grocery store bagged Dunkin Donughts medium roast whole bean. Surprisingly nice cup of joe.
Iced cafe mocha at home made with espresso beans from a local roaster.
Stopped by a place in Atlanta called Egg Harbor cafe and discovered they serve intelligentsia coffee. All they serve is breakfast and lunch, and most of it is heart-attack material that tastes oh so good. Coffee though was black and strong and $2.69 for a never-ending pot. I was pleasantly surprised and asked if they retail it; sure enough, went home with a pound for $12.99 which is very competitive with online pricing (as far as I know it isn't available in stores here). I haven't made it yet but tomorrow will be a lovely morning to grind me up some for my French press adventure.

Greatness!
With this recent heat I've been drinking cold brew. It's served through a nitro tap and looks like a pint of Guiness.

my sister loves hawaii (goes back twice a year) and has a friend who loves around the area.
but it's stupidly expensive
i have a tiny half lb bag my sister brought back and i'm embarassed to know how much it cost.
that said, rich roasting, sweet mature fruit, almost a touch like syrah but 0 bitterness.
a very special coffee
