Employee just gave me a bag of Black Rifle Coffee Company 'Caffeinated As F*ck'. Don't know if he is trying to tell me something, or just knows I like coffee. Will grind some up and report back.

100% Maui this morning. Awesome taste but it was a light roast and the coffee jitters lasted several hours!

Yeah, man, the light roasts really get me all jittery too. The difference I feel is amazing. It's a good thing I like the taste of darker roasts anyway. I know, I know, many "true" coffee connoisseurs will chide me saying I only like "burned" coffee, but what the hell...
Peet's Kenya Auction Lot - really excellent, and I think I like it better than the Gaia Organic blend from last run. A dark roast, but incredibly light on the palate and clean, not muddy at all.

Peet's French Roast this a.m. for me. The Safeway was totally out of pre-ground stuff (I'm lazy these days), so this was back to grinding from whole bean. Darn it...it's better.

Snipes, my tasting notes for coffee are worse than wine. Full bodied dark roast, not bitter at all, definitely has a good caffeine kick. No real fruit notes to it.
When I get a really good coffee I drink it black, this I put a splash of milk and half teaspoon of sugar. A solid cup for waking up in the morning.

Coffee today was Ethiopian. And I found Counter Culture. I'm thrilled to have found some who don't roast it to blackness. Didn't know it was a fad now. Problem with those guys is that they don't tell you what the roast is.
My new complaint - coffees that tell you things like "caramel, blackberry, toffee" or "citrus, grapefruit, cherry".
I can't decipher TNs about wine, now I'm supposed to figure out coffee? Tell me if it's dark, medium or light and give me the points.
