Nice! What engine did you go with?

5.78 Hemi, of course! Was looking at the diesel but no rebates on those. So, went with the truck I could negotiate the most off the price.

I am partial to the diesel (have the same engine in our '14 Grand Cherokee), but you'll be happy with the Hemi.
Finally decided to give up my beloved 2000 Jeep Cherokee 4WD, after my mechanic told me that the next time I bring it in, he many not be able to find parts for it. He had to search far and wide last Spring for a manifold to fit it. It was a 2-door manual, and a bit of an rarity, parts-wise, and the OEM parts he ordered somehow wouldn't fit. That car was sooo fun to drive in the snow! When I sold it to a dealer and I was walking away, I was feeling pangs of regret, like I'd just sold the family dog. But there were already 2 sales people fighting over which would buy it, so I guess it went to a good home.
From that, I transitioned to a 2016 Dodge Challenger R/T, 5.7 Hemi with very low miles, and all the bells and whistles. Found it online down in San Fernando, California, and flew down from Seattle one Saturday to pick it up. Silver color, which was not my first choice (I was looking for something far more obnoxious), but it has a fantastic premium red leather interior. What a great drive up the coast! I was never a gear-head, but I find I'm having fun finding after-market mods to improve the looks and horsepower bit by bit. So sorry, place that I work; I'm not going to be your savior this year when it snows.

so you don't have enough power with a 5.7 Hemi? Gear head.

Gear head.
Ha! There is a feature on the dash that has 2 digital stopwatches; one times how fast you can go from 0-60, and the other is 0-100. I already hit the 0-100 in 7.9 seconds on a back road. That was in normal mode with regular gas, not even the sport mode with premium. Needless to say, I'm having fun with my mid-life-crisis car. Told my wife it was either that, or a big busted blonde. She said the car would be cheaper for me in the long run. She did draw the line at the 6.4L, though.
Choose wisely. From CNN: If you drive an expensive car you're probably a jerk, scientists say

As an Audi owner, I agree with the last paragraph:
"People with this type of personality are, as a rule, respectable, ambitious, reliable and well-organised," the statement said. "They take care of themselves and their health and often perform well at work."

I'd agree with most of that.
There is a wealthy enclave east of Seattle, where for years it was rumored that when coming to a 4-way stop, the most expensive car goes first.

"The answers were unambiguous: self-centred men who are argumentative, stubborn, disagreeable and unempathetic are much more likely to own a high-status car such as an Audi, BMW or Mercedes,"
I think that's total bullshit, and you're not changing my opinion. Clickbait half-assed journalism at best.
What if you have more than one of these types of cars? Asking for a friend....
I’m confident they probably say the same thing about people that drive inexpensive cars as well. There are jerks everywhere.

I drive a Civic and I’m pretty much a dick.
The one thing I would say is that people who drive pickup trucks tend to be very aggressive, otherwise I am not sure about generalizations.

Can't remember the name of the comedian who said this years ago, but he said that his father was black and his mother, white. So he struggled for years to find his identity. Finally, he decided to buy a Cadillac. But mounted a gun rack in the rear window.
I want to buy Volkswagen Transporter T6, but I need to pass a PCV theory test first in order to have a possibility to drive it. I failed my first attempt, but I'm currently studying to the test (here an online platform by link helps me a lot), and I hope my second time will be successful.
Just picked up my new RS5. Should have it for the next 3 months or so.
coupe or sportback?
2019 Sportback. I think I posted a pic on Instagram if you want to check it out.
I"m shocked at myself but I just got a 2021 Lincoln Aviator. Never had a domestic car, growing up we had a buick for about 3 months for some reason but otherwise always european.
It just checks a lot of boxes. Most certainly a lease though.
Congrats! Pains me to say as an employee of a European auto company but the Lincolns are solid vehicles

It came down to this or the Q7 but the Audi was just too sterile
RobS buys a domestic SUV?
2020 keeps getting weirder.....

it drives like a box and floats like a boat until it really starts moving, then it's a very speedy SUV.
but the interiors of lincolns, I really like

We got one back in December...and we love it. Drives nicely, and great interior. Getting too much sand in it from toting the kids' surfboards around, but a pretty classy little ride. It's funny to read the comments about domestic cars. My dad was a midwestern boy and drilled into my brain the idea of only owning domestic cars, hence I have a Ford, a Cadillac, a 56 Chevy, and this Lincoln. California has been asking me to leave for years...

I may or may not work for the brand. Impartially, don’t love the Q7.
Hello. When I bought a car, I was very afraid that I would not be deceived. When buying, I used the service https://vininspect.com/ in order to check the car on all bases. This helped me a lot. Hopefully the car will be very reliable.
2019 Volvo XC90 T6 Rdesign in bursting blue metallic. About 3,000 miles under, 17 months into a 36mo lease. No regrets. 3rd xc90 in my house after the 2016 redesign. Checks all the boxes I need but after so many xc90s I’m thinking I will change it up when this is done. Got it through bigmotoring world
I've been driving my beautiful orange mini since 2016. Now it is time to say goodbye cause I have a little baby and babies obviously need lots of space I am thinking about Range Rover Sport. Checked some reviews from Big motoring world dealer on pissedconsumer and i probably will give them a call. I am so excited to test drive a big car finally, not that i didn't like driving mini, but i think its a completely different feeling)))
My wife likes LRs and we've had good luck with a few, but lease and do not buy, as they tend to be problematic. Cheers!
Long story… but I decided to trade in my 2017 Subaru Ltd and I’m buying a 2022 Subaru limited. Changing from blue to brown. Pretty exciting, eh?
Good luck finding anything to buy. Anywhere. Used or new.
I put a deposit down and gave two color choices. Probably won’t see the new car for a month or 6 weeks.
