My buddy who owns TBC was down there last night too. They have any special stuff on for their one year anniversary or are they saving it for Saturday?

Saving it for Saturday - we saw all the kegs being held for the party - lots of crazy stuff - including the Triple Lindy that FKG put on Instagram and Facebook last night. To be honest, with the diet I have been drinking basically zero beer of late - only had one pint and tastes of 5-6 others last night.

Not true beer, but Stiegl Radler. 40% beer, 60% lemon/orange/grapefruit juice. Better than it sounds and a refreshing quaff on a hot day. The 2.5% abv is appealing if you know you'll be driving later.

There is a place near me that keeps the grapefruit on tap. It IS very good, when you're in the mood for something light.

I've got these two and a Westvleteren 12 lined up for Friday night thanks to a generous board member.

Love the Abt 12 but have yet to try the other two.

We did this a few months ago, with the addition of some domestic Quads. Looking forward to your thoughts.

Shane,

Drank these on Friday so notes from memory.

All in all 3 really great beers. I wouldn't quable over drinking any of these. Remarkable difference between all three though.

The Abt 12 was the most bready/yeasty of the trio and for me the most savory. The Rochefort was the most interesting this night as it had a nice citrus streak that I felt ran thru it. The Westy 12 was the most well balanced and nice mix of dark fruit, raisins, a touch of brandy.

It's hard to really rate them but if I HAD to pick one to drink I think it would be the Rochefort as it was the most refreshing and it was hot outside, lol.
