Sierra Nevada Stout last night. This stuff is excellent.
Greenbush Brewing Company Closure Ale with lunch. Really enjoying this one.

Boundary Bay IPA
Great beer.
There was a beer festival in our town last weekend. You could sample by third, half or full pints. We drank the following in various quantities:
Admans, Ghost ship, strong bitter
Bexar County, Café Pequeno, speciality
Bullmastiff, Welsh black, stout
Greenjack, Trawlerboys, best bitter
Dark Star, Art of Darkness, bitter (BOTN)
Lord Conrad's, Zulu, porter
Mile Tree, Strawberry blond, best bitter
Red Brewery, White duck IPA, golden ale
Wolf, Granny wouldn't like it, strong bitter
I think there might have been one or two others I didn't mark down.
We walked off in a happy mood, indeed, to a very good Turkish meal.

I was a big fan- big, hoppy beer, and great at the right dose. Did you like it?
Been drinking Pacifico and Tecate here in Cabo. The only time I drink that crap is when in Mexico. No mas once I leave.

I enjoyed it, but it didn't stand out to me from any of the other Three Floyds brews.
Goose Island Sophie
Think I may prefer it to Matilda. Lots of citrus tones. Think it would be a very nice warm weather beer.

Fulton The Ringer.
Had a Newcastle during the game and was doing great. Then had a Beaver Milk from Belchin Beaver and could only get through 1/3 of a pint. HEAVY stuff that put me out of commission.

Serious in many ways, including the abv at 11.3%. One is enough for me.
I am drinking gluten free beer recently, the one I liked most is Estrella Daura. Omission is not bad too.
Nogne 0, #100, Norwegian micro, 10% barleywine, kinda rare!
Great Divide Old Ruffian Barleywine
Dogfish Olde School Barleywine (15%, needs some aging)
Mikkeler (11 oz and 12.1%, heavy porter)
Eel River
Labrynth
Bell's Two Hearted Ale (great IPA)

Beau's Lugtread
Sam Smith Chocolate Stout
Goose island pepe nero
A pint of Guinness at the pub in England in Epcot.
Elysian Superfuzz Blood Orange Pale
Keith's Galaxy
Over the last few days, I have been enjoying cans of beer with the nitrogen widgets. Simple guy like me is amazed by the draft taste.
Specifically:
Guiness
Murphy's Stout
Boddington Ale

Boulevard Brewing Co. - The Sixth Glass. I'd say this is a world class quad. First Boulevard for me, but they've peaked my interest for sure.

I also really like these cans with the nitrogen widget. Pop and pour into a glass and you have a very close approximation to a draft pour.
Does it include the dirty line taste?

What's that Nolan?
When bars don't clean their keg lines, there's a specific taste. It's why I don't drink draught beer if I can help it.

I've discussed it a bit in the Sour Beer thread, but even at beer geek bars if I have the same beer side-by-side, bottle vs draught I generally prefer bottle. Imports are hard though, you never know how old bottles are (most imported beers are pasteurized) and you never know if a keg was pasteurized or not (unpasteurized tastes better but spoils faster). At Russian River, I prefer Pliny the Elder, Blind Pig, etc. from bottle vs draught.
Also, most of the beers I enjoy are bottle conditioned, and that process never translates to keg. I've passed on Cantillon because it was on draught, my experience tells me that those kind of beers just show flat and boring from keg.

Rochefort Trappistes 10. This is fantastic - 1st time having one of these. The only downside is the strength - halfway through and I'm starting to feel it already. And I'm a big fat bastard!

Awesome! I'm drinking one right now too.

A Bell's Hopslam last night before going to Big Star for beer & tacos. While at Big Star:
Green Flash Double Stout Black Ale
Three Floyds Gumballhead
Lone Star
Anchor IPA
Revolution A Little Crazy
I got the Stout on accident (I was told they had an IPA by Green Flash), but enjoyed it and I'm trying to get more into stouts & porters lately. I have to say the Gumballhead was my favorite - I don't seem to tire of that beer.
I had to get the Lone Star since it was on True Detective so much, and I'd never had one.

It didn't do much for me either way. I didn't dislike it, but it was just kind of "there". Although it was the last beer I had of the night, and my taste buds were a bit worn out.

Nah - you pretty much nailed it. Unfortunately the "National Beer of Texas" doesn't live up to the lofty title.
