Ones I've had recently -

Ayinger Celebrator - awesome
Bell's Amber Ale - really liked
Furst Wakkerstein Zwickel - don't bother
Paulaner Original Munich - very solid
Reissdorf Kolsch - don't bother
Scuttlebutt Porter - good
Trappistes Rochefort 8 - liked better than 10
Victory Prima Pils - very rich for pilsner
Weihenstephaner Korbinian - better than Guinness
Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier Dark - just don't like wheat beers

Sounds good.

It is. It's a doppelbock, which is similar to Irish stout with lots of toasted malt and coffee flavors, but sometimes can have a little sweetness on the finish. The Korbinian doesn't have much, but the Ayinger Celebrator (also a doppelbock) does, and is incredibly rich and complex. I would try that one too.

Question for our Ontario forum members:

Any Ontario craft beers you've tasted recently and would recommend?

I've recently been drinking Amsterdam Big Wheel and King Brewery Vienna Lager and enjoying both of them... but am always on the lookout to try something different.

Anything by Beau's. Especially the limited runs.

I'll have to grab some. I LOVED the prior release in this manic IPA thing: the Savant IPA, so this is encouraging news!

I found this in a hidden, little hole-in-the-wall place in Woodinville, called "The Collective". Many taps; definitely worth seeking out.

Anything by duggans.

Flying monkeys offerings are always interesting.

+1 on the muskoka mad toms.

Still love creemore even post-molsons.
Recent ones:

Cigar City Jai Alai IPA (draught) - solid
Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale - didn't care for the finish
Dogfish Head Midas Touch - liked
North Coast PranQster Ale - a slightly dialed back Belgian style ale
Rogue Dead Guy (draught) - dark & malty, really nice
St Bernardus Abt 12 - Awesome! Probably my favorite Belgian to date.
Sierra Nevada Bigfoot Ale - good balance for a hopbomb
Weihenstephaner Pilsner - good, but no better than Pilsner Urquell
Went to a comedy club last night where the waitresses are all hot, hot, hot! But it comes at a price.
The beer menu states brewers, but not which beer is being served. So we ask our very statuesque, blonde waitress which Shocktop they have.
"Uh, I forget."
"Okaaaay, then give us another pitcher of the Ninkasi IPA." (Which we had been previously drinking.) She returns a few minutes later with, of course, a pitcher of Shocktop. Roll Eyes

If you like IPA's, try Tricerahops and Total Domination IPA, both made by Ninkasi.
