Ebel's Weiss and Northwind Imperial Stout at Two Brothers Roundhouse last night, formerly Walter Payton's Roundhouse. Nothing like tasty beer and live music in a 150+ year old stone and timber structure.
Had a sapporo with dolsot bibim bap, now onto Fat tire and brooklyn lager.
Did you have the bibimbap at Ichiban? They changed from "real" ceramic bowls to some faux plastic s___ and the rice doesn't get as crunchy as it used to, fwiw.....
Mmmmm... bibimbap.

Ichiban indeed. I noticed the bowl change, it was still pretty tasty. Rice got crunchy enough for me though, so no big deal.
Cool. Yeah, it's a little harder to get that great crust using a fake bowl, but I'm glad you enjoyed it. Nice place if you can get past the spotty service. Very good sushi as well.

Hotter than Hellus Lager
Tocobaga Red Ale - This was fantastic!!!
Humidor IPA - This their Jai-Lai IPA with extra wood treatment and mellowed out. Not as in your face with the hops. I prefer the Jai-Lai but this was good.

Saturday:
* Green Flash Trippel (bottled)
* Allagash Four (draught)
* Left Coast Wedge (bottled)
The Green Flash Trippel was light copper color in the glass, opaque with a good head. The nose was spices, flowers and citrus fruits. Flavors were lemons, a mix of yellow fruits and a bit bready on the finish. Very good to excellent.
The Allagash Four was bronze color in the glass, clear with a good head. Nose had good hops, tropical fruits with a bit dustiness. Flavors were malt balls and tropical fruits. Good weight on the palate with a pleasant finish. Good to maybe very good.
The Left Coast Wedge was black color in the glass, opaque with a good head. Nose was cappuccino and toast. Flavors were coffee with a hint of bitters. Excellent weight on the palate with a good but slightly bitter finish. Very good to excellent.

Has anybody tried Ninkasi? I see different bottlings every once in a while in the store, but have yet to try one.
The Ninkasi Double Tricerahops IPA is fantastic, but beware as it approaches 10% ABV.
Speaking of beware, had 2 Flying Dog Double Dogs after work last night. 11.5% ABV.
:crosseyed:
Not bad, but a little boozy.
