The local beer in Hué, Vietnam. Hits the spot for 75 cents per can.

And likely safer than drinking water. Win/win!

... and no ice cubes required as well.

I’ve never drunk as much bottled water as I have in the past 10 days.

I found out in the Seychelles that you also always use the cans. Bottles get recycled and washed with local water (often in less than sterile conditions) so while you're doing the right thing by only drinking beer you still get sick. I don't know if I've ever been as stomach sick as drinking that beer in the seychelles. If I had trusted the hospitals I would have gone. Defiled that poor hotel bathroom...

Some friends and I brewed a 90 minute clone in a SD blizzard and tasted some beers, some new to me.

The Julius is outstanding, best NE style IPA I've had. Disappointed in the Bbbrighttt.
Heady Topper and Sip of Sunshinee great as always. Bell's Hopslam is so balanced as a double IPA. Julius was the beer of the night.

For a nation-wide beer, Red Chair is hard to beat.

That's Trois Pistoles. French not Spanish. Razz

Unibroue may be my very favorite brewery not located in Belgium. Great beer!

They make Trader Joe's Vintage Ale, which I usually buy each year. Good stuff.

Are the Unibroue beers you guys get in IL and TX brewed up here or at the Sapporo brewery in WI? I suppose they could also be brewed at the Sleeman Brewery in Ontario.

Chambly, Quebec per the bottle.

Trader Joe's is also brewed in Chambly.

Unibroue Fin du Monde. Great as always - love the style.

Having one of these tonight. For the second time, I bought a mixed 6-pack of different Unibroue beers. I haven't had one of theirs that I didn't enjoy.

I agree most of their beers are great. But I sometimes think they put together these mixed cases to get rid of slow selling SKUs like their 'apple beer' Ephemere. It's the final bottle from my mixed six, and I'm drinking it tonight. It kinda sucks.

Hopbot IPA from Hopcity Brewing Co.

I've been trying a lot of local IPAs lately in hopes of finding something similar to my beloved Lagunitas Sucks (no longer available in Ontario) and this is the closest I've found.

You will be reunited with your beloved next Wednesday... or sooner if you want to drop by my office this week. LMK.
