Dogfish Head 90min IPA; very nice.

Great choice. This is the benchmark IPA against which I measure all others.

Hmmm. I like it, but the alcohol is too much for me. I much prefer their 60 minute.

I agree entirely

The 90 is more of an Imperial or Double IPA as opposed to an IPA. It is a little "hot" for me, but nursing one in front of a fire ain't a bad way to go. I prefer the 60, and find it a very good session IPA. As I've said here before, if you're at a place that has both the 60 and 90 on tap have them pour you a 75. The best of both brews in one glass.

2016 Goose Island Proprietor's Day:

'16 BCBS Proprietor's
'16 BCBS Regular
'13 BCBS Templeton Rye (aged in TR barrels)
'?? BCBS Baudoinia (basically fungus barrels)

Loved the '16 Prop- the notes from FOBAB seem totally off base. The '13 Templeton Rye (previously enjoyed at '16 Dark Lord Day) was also amazing.

Picked up 2x '16 Prop and 2x '15 Rare from the event (was there with the wife).

I was at FOBAB, and it definitely sounds like the beer was completely different at Prop Day. It may have been due to the different format (smaller & colder pour at FOBAB than Prop Day). I'll be hoping to get 2-3 bottles over the next week or two.

I love the Templeton Rye BCBS...I wish they would just bottle that as a variant.
