A pint of Trooper Ale
A pint of Trooper Ale
Goose Island Big Train x2 (local GI brewpub barrel aged porter)
Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Stout (2014)
I'm a big BCBS fan, but preferred the Big Train.
Now a Revolution Unsessionable at home.

Beer tasting party:
Camelback IPA
Grand Canyon Pumpkin Porter
Oak Creek Nut Brown Ale
Four Peaks Kiltlifter
San Tan Sunspot Pilsner
Lumberyard IPA
I liked all of them, except the Lumberyard was a little too hoppy for me. For my taste the Camelback IPA had the right amount of hops in it.

I loved going to that game when I was in college and just after college. Great atmosphere and revelry.
I had Cigar City Guayabera Pale Ale last night. Much prefer Invasion.

So far, I've liked pretty much everything from CCB. I actually prefer Jai Alai IPA to Invasion as a stand lone..but for tailgating where there might be copious consumption, a slightly less hopped ale and lower abv works better for me.

Definitely! If you haven't visited the brewery, go. One word: Metal
Schlafly Pumpkin Ale
Cigar City is a quality brewery.
Scbeerman, Im curious if any Funky Buddha beers have made it up your way? If so, thoughts?
I have not seen FB in our market. I had to google this brewery as I had not heard of them. That is not a statement either way as there are so many of them now. It looks as though they have a solid lineup.

They have really expanded their distrobution in the past year and people go nuts for their one offs but Im not a huge fan. I was just curious if you had tried any of their stuff.
A new McMenamin's opened near me. I tried their Hammerhead and one IPA. Both were fine, but nothing to write home about. There are much better micro and nano breweries in the immediate area.
Founders Harvest Ale
Sixpoint Sensi
Lagunitas Born Yesterday (the best of these first 3)
New Holland Dragon's Milk with Coffee & Chocolate
Pipeworks Twin Pines Mall (nice, not too much spruce/pine)

Unibroue la fin du monde. Keep coming back to this.
Flying Fish IPA
Surly Nein.
Transient Salarium - ok, but I think I'm done with sours...just not my thing. And this isn't even a very sour beer.
Pipeworks Black Tuna - I liked it the first time I had it, but this bottle was not as good. Too much pine.

Schlafly pumpkin ale
Scorched Earth Crypt Keeper Imperial Pumpkin Porter last night. Not generally a fan of pumpkin beer, but this was fantastic. The brew-master was telling me that they only put enough pumpkin spice in the brew to be able to call it pumpkin for the Halloween season.
Last night:
Surly Abrasive - I liked it, but I think the hype for this release is a bit much.
Collaboration No 5 Tropical Pale Ale - I've had a few bottles of this now, and I think this was teh best. Great tropical flavor.
Lagunitas Born Yesterday
