All on tap this evening:

Ommegang Hennepin
Dogfish 60
Goose Island Bourbon County Stout 2013
Goose Island Bourbon County Stout 2014

One of the better beer drinking nights I can recall - perhaps the best ever. If assigning points, the last two would get 99 and 97 points respectively. This was the first time I have the the GI BC beers, and was glad to have them on tap. Absolutely phenomenal.

That's some good drinking- nice work. For those in Chicago, the Whole Foods in Lincoln Park has the BC on tap at the upstairs bar, which is often overlooked. Always some gems available here.

CBS is every bit deserving of the hype. one of the best stouts in the world. (and the 2014 batch is just as good as the 2010/2011)

Franch, how does the CBS compare to the KBS if you've had it? I've had the KBS but the CBS is new to me.

CBS is such an amazing beer. In my experience it's best drank fresh - every cellared bottle I've had or shared, the maple dissipated a lot or entirely.

If you can get your hands on Prairie Bomb, give it a try. It's aged with coffee, cacao nibs, vanilla beans and ancho chilis. You taste all the flavors but nothing jumps out, they all sneak in through the finish. It's probably the most well balance of multiple flavors in a beer I've ever had with Hunahpu's a distant second.

the CBS blows KBS away. not even the same league. KBS is pretty good but there are a lot of bourbon barrel aged stouts that are similarly hard to get or easier (the goose island bourbon county and its variants as well as the bruery's black tuesday and its variants). CBS is, IMO, in the top 10 beers i've ever had. it competes with the craziest of stouts.

don't get a bottle. the 2014 batch, so far as we know, is only in kegs. the bottles have fallen way off a cliff as Wino805 mentions - maple gone, weird anise bitterness remains.

not actually a big fan of bomb (or prairie stouts)... i vastly prefer hunahpu's in the chili/chocolate stout category, then mexican cake, then bomb/abraxas.
Went to a couple breweries in SW Michigan yesterday:

Tapistry Mindstorm (black IPA...eh)
Also had some double IPA there that I can't recall the name of, but it was great
Greenbush Jadis (Winter White...terrible, too much pine in it) - I couldn't drink more than a few gulps before returning it
Greenbush Starchicken Shotgun (nice IPA)

Then proceeded to the casino and had a bunch of different beers that I can't recall.
