I'm listening to more rain hitting my roof than I have ever seen. We are supposed to get 3 inches of rain with 50 MPH winds today. Yee Haw...time to light a fire and line up some vino! I think winos are the only people who love crappy weather that forces us to stay in

Bonnie Prince Billy - The Letting Go
I'm usually not listening to music when I'm online, but I have just finished a great cd called "This is Art Deco". Some great stuff from the late '20s thru the mid '50s. Among others it includes:
Swanee by Al Jolson
Look What You've Done by Eddie Cantor
I Can't Give You Anything but Love by the Mills Bros.
A Guy What Takes His Time by Mae West
Let's Fall in Love by Jack Lemmon
Lili Marlene by Marlene Dietrich
An eclectic mix to be sure, but great listening.
Now I'm on to Nora Jones...

Kronos Quartet - Black Angels
Luciano Pavarotti
Sparklehorse - Dreamt for Light Years in the Belly of a Mountain
Pavarotti has the most beautiful voice I've ever heard.

Wow. I knew you had a gourmet palate, but an ear for Pavarotti also!

You are indeed a lady of taste and style Een.

Pavarotti in his prime singing Nessun Dorma was as good as it gets imo. Pure greatness. Bravo!

Sonny Stitt - Tune UP
Miles Davis, Kind of Blue.
NIN - The Fragile
Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis (Slatkin - Saint Louis Symphony)

Great lyrics, good music (kind of folk/roots genre), unique voice.
