We play primarily Brazilian Bossa Nova and Samba at the restaurant. At the end of the night, when the diners are gone and there is only a couple people at the bar along with the staff, I have been known to play Reggae (roots, not Dancehall).

Do you play music at your wine bar? And if you do, I'd like to know what kind. And if you don't, I'd like to know why.
I'm usually not listening to music when I'm online, but I have just finished a great cd called "This is Art Deco". Some great stuff from the late '20s thru the mid '50s. Among others it includes:
Swanee by Al Jolson
Look What You've Done by Eddie Cantor
I Can't Give You Anything but Love by the Mills Bros.
A Guy What Takes His Time by Mae West
Let's Fall in Love by Jack Lemmon
Lili Marlene by Marlene Dietrich
An eclectic mix to be sure, but great listening.

Now I'm on to Nora Jones... Cool

Tanglenet, thanks for that trivia. I wasn't aware that he played some of the guitar on that album. I assumed it was Ronnie Wood on Hot Stuff, as it's obviously not Keith's style.

This morning I'm listening to

Mozart Symphonies 36 & 38, Sir Charles Mackerras & the Prague Chamber Orchestra.

I also stumbled on this. It has more info that I ever knew existed on this album:

Joe Walsh Live "You Can't Argue With A Sick Mind"
Before he joined the Eagles. Better than the Eagles.

Yikes, this album released 30 years ago. Heard "Walk Away" while driving this weekend and dug it out of my vinyl collection tonight.
Still sounds good to me. The only thing missing was the frequent bubbling sound that accompanied it 30 years ago.

This has to be a joke. Gorgeous face?? Eek Like only a mother or an old balding cradle robber could love. Thankfully she has retired to Las Vegas and mercifully spared us up here from her schlok songs. A female Wayne Newton Razz

Careful...I made fun last time Opus Two mentioned celine and it was not appreciated...

Steely Dan - Can't Buy a Thrill
Oh, come on. Opus Two is being a full and complete gentleman, even asking politely that we don't mock old horsefa- I mean Celine dion.

Now, I'm sure there are those out there that would mock me for some of my musical choices, and no matter what my personal opinions of Celine Dion, everyone is entitled, yada yada yada.

Let's just never speak of she that will remain nameless again.
