Also never inducted? Joe Cocker. Nuts.
The most egregious snub in a long list of snubs.
I also agree about The Guess Who, Styx, and Supertramp, and will add Bad Company, Ben E. King, Devo, Pat Benetar, Warren Zevon, Jethro Tull, Big Star, King Crimson, Richard Thompson and the one that irks me the most: Little Feat.
The "problem" is that it is a private enterprise that cares primarily about ego, gate revenue, and apparently Baker Mayfield & Alice Cooper commercials. As my visit (and conversation with a staff member) indicates, fame has very little to do with who is inducted these days.
I agree with sunnylea that Richard Thompson is worthy. Some might argue that fame and influence are two different things, but he would have my vote.

Rick, one of my very favourite albums of the 60’s. Have it on vinyl and 5.1 surround SACD. “Nights in White Satin” is on my permanent fave songs playlist. Also “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood” is pretty good, though I think others did that one better.
Think I’ll put it on right now😎

Enjoy M. Interestingly there was a discrete quadraphonic reel-to-reel version back in the day. The centre and sub channels were added subsequently to produce the 5.1.
Sounds like you both are doing well?

Oh man, does that ever take me back! Only the rich kids had reel-to-reel, so I was an 8- track boy until ( thank goodness!) cassettes came around, and then I could record my vinyl.
Yes, we are well except, of course, our lives revolved around travel, which we haven’t been able to do for more than 2 years now. But like everyone, we hope for improvements in the very near future.
Hope you and Mary are also well. It has been too long.
