He's wearing me out on Led Zep and AC/DC.

I heard Celine Dion has been griping about the Vegas crowds. She was saying something about the people being tired and jet lagged, not showing enthusiasm, falling asleep in the seats, etc. Well, you can bet that never happened when the King played Vegas baby.

Probably never even happened to Wayne Newton either.
That happened to me the one time I saw her...barely made it there carrying my briefcase into Caesar's Palace...sitting by myself...huffing and puffing...trying to adjust to the two hour time difference since I was an early sleeper back then. I was tired, very tired, but the show was fantastic and I would see it again and again and again.

She is not the best performer in the world; however, Dralion, the show's producer makes it one of the best shows I have ever seen.

Scubarex, how was the show? I am waiting for the CD to come out, love the song BYOB.. Wink Smile

That was the opening song. It was a sweat fest. The venue holds about 800 people who were mostly packed in a moshing, slamdancing, bodysurfing cluster on the main floor. I on the other hand staked out a spot on the balcony dead center. Thus enjoying the band and youthful exuberance below. The show was a non top aural assault.
Just got a 30GB iPod, so I am listening to stuff I forgot I'd owned as I try to fill the thing with CD's and .mp3's.... Dave Matthews, Faith No More, Kate Bush, Iron Maiden, Sloan, Sublime, etc.

Besides that, I can't get enough of The Arcade Fire's Funeral CD. One of the few CD's I have bought recently that I can actually listen in its entirity. Not exactly uplifting music but amazing stuff.
Right now: The Dead "Terrapin Station Live"

Lately: any Dead, any DMB, Clash "Sandinista", MoFro "Lochloosa" & "Blackwater", String Cheese Incident, Pearl Jam, Pat Metheny, Jean Luc-Ponty, Pink Floyd "Meddle" & "Animals", Ronnie Laws, Brian Auger's Oblivion Express, Robin Trower, Norah Jones, Led Zeppelin "Physical Graffiti" & "Houses of the Holy", Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn
