50 years old and still brilliant.

R.E.M. - Monster; the band at the top of their form.

Excellent choice, though I prefer Life's Rich Pageant and Document (particularly the latter) even more. ("Oddfellows Local 151" is a favorite of mine).
Gang of Four - Hard
I agree with gigabit, it's probably their best and one of their most underrated.quote:Originally posted by duckfaninmt:quote:Originally posted by gigabit:

Not too much argument, although I do prefer Automatic for the People.
Grizzly Bear - Veckatimest
Todor Kobakov - Pop Music
U2 - The Unforgettable Fire - Digitally Remastered
Dylan, Highway 61 Revisited.
The Cramps. Bad music for bad people.
Mozart Symphonies #39 & 40, Von Karajan & the Vienna Philharmonic
Guru Josh Project - Infinity
David Guetta - love him.

In stereo or mono?
I've been listening to jazz all day.
Branford Marsalis' Metamorphosen and Blues in Time by Gerry Mulligan and Paul Desmond.
Guess I've got sax on my mind...

I just picked it up the other day so have only listened to it once. I have a self-imposed 3 listen rule before deciding on an album, but it sounds pretty good so far. Good vocal interplay between the two singers.
Yo La Tengo - Popular Songs
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Coincidentally, on New Year's Eve I played Beatles Rock Band. I did the vocals on Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. Those high notes are a bugger, but I did get 100%.

A great morning of Minnesota Public Radio on the ride in:
Bach- Italian Concerto...I would like to have heard more of this played by Matt Damon in his role as Tom Ripley.
Puccini's Tosca; Recondita armonia...while only orchestra this morning, it is easy to "hear" Pavarotti sing this; probably my second favorite song to hear him sing next to Nessun dorma.

Love this CD. Currently have his previous one playing (The Dream of the Blue Turtles), which is also great. "Children's Crusade" is just a lovely song.
the perfect blend of aerosmith "draw the line" & "night in the ruts". between the 2 of them they make 1 decent record!

I liked aerosmith better the first time- when they were called The Rolling Stones.
