Hey Grun, you have to be an Ian Curtis fan right ?

To a degree. I understand he's an icon, but I really only value him for his musical talent and his voice in particular. I heard they were gonna make a movie about him.

Anyway, here it is Baird. klikken

That's bloody terrible. How can that guy get a recording contract?

Although the worst singer EVER was that guy that sang "Up The Country". Canned Heat? I forget the name of the band. He is head and shoulders over any competition. Lemmy from Motorhead sings like an angel compared to that guy.

Excellent; listening to the Brandenburg Concerto #3 as I type and post; Trevor Pinnock & the English Consert.
Having moved on to Bach's Goldberg Variations, as performed more recently by that late, great and most whacked out Canadian, Glenn Gould.

View the the Glenn Gould treasury for much more.

Feeling a little Hannibal-like, I bid you a good evening; wishing you good liver, fava beans and a nice Chianti.

You're talking about the late Bob "the Bear" Hite. Yes, his voice was so ill-suited for singing the blues, it always made me wonder if Canned Heat was from some foreign country that had no connection to the blues. Liechtenstein, maybe.
Alan "Blind Owl" Wilson sang Going Up The Country, not Bob "the Bear" Hite. They're both gone now, but Bob outlasted Al. I just listened to Goin' Up The Country for the first time in several years last week, and I was so impressed as to what a great performance it was on so many levels.

Sorry to disagree, but that song is one of the better things that ever came out of that period, IMNSHO.

Just my 2 oz.,

I'm not the one who calls myself Ass. Diarrhea of the mouth is a terrible thing. You have my sympathies.
Aghora

They are a progressive/technical metal band with what sounds like an Indian singer.

Check out their MP3 if that sort of thing appeals to you. You cannot go wrong.
