Totally agree on this venue. Was too young to see the Dead there, but was lucky to see Phish and Widespread there on a couple of different occasions.

I was also lucky to see some shows at Red Rocks and the Gorge, two other venues that make the atmosphere at east coast sheds like Darien Lake seem dreary at best.

Was fortunate to see the Dead at the Greek 12 times between 85 and 88. Was at Red Rocks in 84. What an incredible venue. Never been to the Gorge.

Shawn and Steve it is. New release last week. Produced by Buddy Miller. It has a wonderful, raw rambunctiousness to it. Some odd choices of tunes to cover, though. Tobacco Road, Ruby Tuesday, You Were On My Mind, Baby's In Black...

I don't know Steel Pulse, but I'll give them a listen today.
