One more thing we have in common! Cool

Bob, too right. Listening now to their first album (Supertramp, 1970) with their second (Indelibly Stamped, 1971) to follow. All are the remastered versions.

Rick

One of my all-time favourite bands. Saw them in 1978 in the football stadium at Western.

I feel ya. On the way home from a night of cards last week, I had 2112 blasting in the car. Mrs. TLV was at first surprised, but she was jamming along by the time we got home. Through it on the Sonos as soon as we walked in the door and finished the album. I couldn't tell you the last time I listened to that album.

I may be the only Canadian boomer rocker who does not enjoy listening to Rush, at least not for longer than about 30 seconds.

Add me to the US boomer list. Like Journey, Kansas, Van Halen etc., second level bands at best.

I like Journey and some tunes of the other two, though with Kansas it's probably more an echo of my youth than anything else.

Just realized I forgot to add the "incoming/popcorn-eating" emoticon to my previous post....

I saw the full bands last show in about 1982 in Irvine, CA. I saw Roger Hodgson about two years ago and it was excellent!

Love it! You ever seen him live? Great entertainer if you get the chance.

I haven't seen him live yet. Every time he's in the area, I have something else going on.

This is one of my favorite albums. When I heard it come on today, for some reason I thought of you and wondered if you'd ever heard any of his songs. Too funny.

Ha! You know me too well my friend. Caught him for the first time a few years ago opening up for Bonnie Raitt and, while I love me some Bonnie, I actually enjoyed his set even more than hers. Much like Lyle Lovett and others, he entertains not just with the music but with the stories between songs and overall interaction with the crowd.

We do seem to gravitate towards the same music. Now I just need to get down to Austin and visit that famous sound-stage.
