Testament 'The Formation of Damnation'
What do you think of this? I have been giving it a try but not really won over.
'The Ritual' is the one album from Testament I enjoy.
I like Skolnick's guitar work a great deal. I thought this was the best thing from Testament since the 80's.
Loved them through their first 4 albums. I enjoy the new music but not a fan of Chuck Billy's newer "vocal" style.
I kind of like 'First Strike Still Deadly', a rerecord of their 80s stuff.
Still don't know why 'Ritual' gets no love.

Stevie Ray Vaughn's cover of "Little Wing". How wonderfully evocative.
I was almost going to comment about how it might be better than the original but, I'm not sure I'm going to make that comparison. Sting does an excellent cover as well. Any other recommendations for a cover of "Little Wing"?

Pretty divergent take on it, but... Derek and the Dominoes.

I'm assuming you're not at an all-inclusive in the buffet line?

It is sort of like asking, "I love Bob Dylan's 'All Along the Watchtower', anyone know of any good covers?" or The Boxtops' "The Letter", or The BeeGees' "To Love Somebody". Just one tick shy of asking for a good cover of Otis Redding's "Respect".
