AM and Releflektor. Almost like they're stuck in the drive.
Pink Floyd "Have a Cigar"
Santana, Abraxis - one of my favorites. The output with Neal Schon and Gregg Rolie is superior. The 20th anniversary tour with those guys was effing rocking.
I was happy to see Carlos capitalize on Supernatural, but it isn't even in my top five Santana discs...it's more like Santana-lite.

Wife and I caught Harry Connick Jr. last night and today I've been going through some of his stuff. Soundtrack from When Harry Met Sally is queued up right now.

Wow! We didn't talk metal when you were here a few months ago. "More Than Meets the Eye" is a great track. I saw these guys a few times late 80's/early 90's, then again a few years ago.

I just wish Metal was less expensive on vinyl. I paid $25 for Slayer this weekend and everything else was under $10 and most of it under $5. I mean I paid $3 for Bukka White on Takoma and $9 for Professor Longhair on Alligator.
Fats Domino...old time, i love it. reminds me of listening to lps with my mom.
Tom Waits - Asylum Years
Trying to like Gary Clark Jr.
Incredible guitarist, truly talented. I don't like most of his songs, but he has so many different styles, and a few of the songs I do like. It will be really interesting to see how his career progresses. He has more stuffing than any new artist I've heard in decades.
Also,
Lots o' Janis Joplin

Memory of listening in 1970, the year of his death, at midnight to the great album Walking The Blues. You know from the first notes of It Must Have Been The Devil that he was so talented.
He's was 40 when he died. His grave was unmarked for 30 years. That's the blues.
